Xerox-Branded LCD Monitors Available at CompUSA Jan 8, 2004

Xerox, a business appliance maker, announced the company's 17- and 19-in LCD flat-panel monitors are available at CompUSA's chain of U.S. retail stores.

Part of Xerox Displays 5 series, the 17-in silver XL776s features a 450:1 contrast ratio and built-in speakers. With a suggested retail price of U.S. $499.99, the reported ultra-thin design and integrated speakers are said to help maximize desktop space. CompUSA also offers model XL592Ds, a 19-in, silver LCD with a 500:1 contrast ratio and a 25 msec response time. The 5 Series ultra-thin LCD displays are said to feature wider viewing angles for clearer images and digital video interface. Suggested retail pricing is $699.99.

Both models are said to feature one-touch auto adjust and wall-mounting capabilities for quick and easy installation.
