Engineering conglomerate Invensys is rumored to be gearing up for a high-profile disposal when it releases its interim figures next week, the Independent Digital U.K. reported. Invensys is currently in the process of selling off assets in an attempt to cut its debt burden and if this market talk is true, according to analysts, the yet-to-be-released results statement will have some positive news on this front.

The online publication also reported that market professionals are saying that Invensys has pretty much completed the disposal of its Appliance Controls business and that it is on the verge of securing a price well ahead of market expectations. An estimated price was not disclosed.
