Hood River, OR, U.S.-based Streamzap has partnered with several leading electronic retailers, and its product is now part of the featured lineup at CompUSA, New York City CE specialist J&R Music, Computer World, and ThinkGeek.com, part of the rapidly growing Open Source Development Network (OSDN) .

The Streamzap PC Remote provides PC enthusiasts with a way to enjoy multi-media content without using the keyboard, using IR technology to control programs up to 40 ft away from your computer.

According to estimates, some 100 million Americans have used their PC to play music. Of those, 60 million have downloaded MP3s, including 56 percent of all college students.

"We're pleased to be working with this caliber of retailers to provide an affordable high tech holiday gift for anyone using their PC as an entertainment center,"" says Jonah Peskin, president and chief technology officer (CTO), of Streamzap Inc. in a press release announcing the partnership.
