The National Hardware Show, owned and operated by Reed Exhibitions, has reported that some 1,514 manufacturers have contracted to exhibit at the 2004 National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV, U.S., May 10-12, 2004. In addition, more than 3,000 retailers, wholesalers, and distributors have registered to attend the show.
The home improvement trade show, owned and operated by Reed for nearly 60 years, was recently re-organized after declining attendance and exhibitor support at its annual Chicago, IL, U.S. show. Reed says that it decided to improve several aspects of the show, including new timing, location, program content, and lower costs.
With recent exhibitors signing on such as Black & Decker, Scotts Company, and Zinsser, Reed says that the 2004 National Hardware Show in Las Vegas is proving to be the preferred home improvement show for the industry.

Mr. Cappiello noted that the Industry Summit on Home Improvements has been a major attraction for exhibitors and attendees. "It will be the first such educational event for the home improvement industry, and will feature more than 60 high-profile speakers on timely topics like women in home improvement, lawn and garden retailing and new demographic research."
