Kenwood USA Corporation, a Long Beach, CA, U.S.-based manufacturer of audio and video products, announced it has named Dan R. Petersen as senior vice president of Strategic Business Planning. Mr. Petersen, most recently vice president of Marketing and Sales at Phoenix Gold America, was senior vice president of market development at Kenwood Americas, formerly the parent company of Kenwood USA, from 1980-1995.
Makoto Inukai, president of Kenwood USA, announced Mr. Petersen's appointment, as well as the promotion of four other marketing and sales executives.
Dean Hutto, formerly Kenwood's national sales manager for Home Electronics, has been named vice president, Home Entertainment. Mike Roberts, formerly director of sales, was appointed vice president, Mobile Entertainment. Keith Wakefield was promoted to vice president, national accounts, from the position of national account manager. Sally House, formerly director of marketing, was promoted to senior marketing manager.
