Microchip Technology Inc. announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock and increased the dividend rate by 25 percent. The quarterly dividend declared is U.S. $0.03 per share and is payable on Dec. 1, 2003, to stockholders of record on Nov. 10, 2003.
