Tilia, Inc., manufacturer of FoodSaver® and the leader in home vacuum packaging, announced the joining of forces with VillaWare Manufacturing Company, manufacturer of VillaWare® premier small electric kitchen appliances, cookware, and kitchen tools.
VillaWare designs, manufactures, and distributes a range of both electric and non-electric professional-grade kitchen utensils and cooking equipment. Its products are distributed through leading specialty chain and independent cookware stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. VillaWare also holds a licensing agreement with The Walt Disney Company for distribution of certain Mickey Mouse® and Winnie the Pooh® cookware and related products.

Internally both brands will draw from a strong, common base covering accounting, management, product development, and operations. Externally, FoodSaver will continue its strong brand focus on food preservation products to the mass market. The VillaWare brand will continue its expansion in unique, quality food preparation products exclusively to the specialty and high-end kitchen products market.
