Maytag Corporation's Dixie-Narco Vending Systems and Food Automation Systems Technology, Inc., known as Fastcorp, have formed an alliance for product initiatives for the vending industry.

Based in Morris Township, NJ, U.S., Fastcorp is said to be one of North America's largest manufacturers of vending equipment for frozen food items. According to Dixie-Narco, the partnership will initially include supply and distribution initiatives, but could expand into other areas in the long term.

"This relationship with Fastcorp further diversifies Dixie-Narco's business base and revenue stream," said Doug Huffer, president of Dixie-Narco.

Dixie-Narco has previously announced similar agreements with Nippon Conlux of Japan and the Bianchi Vending Group of Italy.

"Our new relationship with Dixie-Narco will enable both companies to explore new vending opportunities and introduce our businesses in many new markets around the world," said Mark Rogers, president of Fastcorp.
