Arvida, a St. Joe Company and developer of residential, resort, and business communities nationwide, announced that it has formed an alliance to offer Bose Corporation BUILT-INvisible(R) home entertainment systems in its Central Florida, U.S. communities.

Through this alliance, all new homes in Arvida's Victoria Park community in DeLand, FL, U.S. and Artisan Park in Celebration, FL, U.S. will be built "Bose Ready(TM)," said the company. Bose home entertainment systems have reportedly been engineered specifically for each floor plan, and the necessary wiring will be installed in the walls of every new Arvida residence in Central Florida. The BUILT-INvisible systems offered to Arvida residents will include a full range of home entertainment options, each engineered to provide performance, elegance, and simplicity while blending seamlessly into any décor, according to Arvida.

The BUILT-INvisible systems also will include proprietary ADAPTiQ(TM) audio calibration technology. This technology reportedly customizes the sound to the specific room where the system is installed. ADAPTiQ technology automatically measures, analyzes, and adjusts for the unique acoustics of each space, determined by the room's layout, furniture, window treatments—even where a homeowner sits to enjoy movies and music, said Bose.

"Music is an integral part of everyone's life today—especially in the home," said Stan Shields, director, Installed Systems Group for Bose. "As a result of this alliance, Arvida's homebuyers may fill their homes with lifelike music as easily as they choose their floor coverings and counter tops. They can get closer to the music, but farther away from the equipment and hassles conventional systems often require."

Arvida said it will also be offering Philips flat screen and plasma high-definition televisions to complete a homeowner's audio/video entertainment solution. Residents in Victoria Park and Artisan Park will have the option to purchase the Bose and Philips home entertainment systems as part of their total home package.
