RadioShack said it was bringing to market a suite of products aimed at the "ellness"market. The personal care health products include a wireless heart monitor, a blood pressure monitor and several home comfort products. The retailer is launching the products under a new brand, LifeWise. About 20 SKUs will be in the line.
RadioShack said the brand will also be supported with a Web site, lifewiseonline.com.
Christiane Pendarvis, vice president of Merchandising for connecting things at RadioShack, said the launch reflects the retailerâ€™s commitment to "making products affordable and accessible." Ms. Pendarvis said the line features "well-priced, easy-to-use products that respond to consumersâ€™ increasing desires to achieve improved health, personal balance and overall well-being."
