AB Electrolux's North American floor care products subsidiary, The Eureka Company, will launch Electrolux branded floor care products within selected national retail channels in North
America this October.
"The goal behind launching Electrolux branded floor care products in North America is to provide our retail partners and consumers with products that embody superior design in look, feel, sound and performance," said Magnus
Yngen, President of Electrolux Floor Care and Light Appliance AB. "We intend to introduce a comprehensive lineup of premium Electrolux branded
floor care products."
In 2000, AB Electrolux reacquired the rights to the Electrolux brand in North America. The agreement provides for use of the Electrolux brand on floor care products beginning in October 2003.
Additional information about the Electrolux floor care marketing and product plans will be unveiled to North American consumer and trade audiences at a media event this November in New York City.

The Eureka Company became part of the Electrolux Group in 1974.It has a 95-year history in the North American floor care market. In addition to the Eureka brand, the company is also home to the Sanitaire commercial brand and Beam central vacuums.
