Toshiba Foresees Greater Loss Sep 17, 2003

Toshiba Corp. said it has revised its earnings projection downward for the first half of fiscal 2003 and the full year due largely to poor results in its digital products segment.

For the April to September first half, Toshiba anticipates a consolidated net loss of 25 billion yen (U.S. $214.8 million) against a loss of 15 billion yen ($128.9 million) in the initial forecast announced in April. (Kyodo News)
