Completing its suite of high-end kitchen appliances, Thermador, part of the BSH Home Appliances Corporation, today announced the introduction of its new built-in refrigeration line. The new refrigeration models will be available in October 2003.

According to Thermador, the new refrigerator line matches the unique styling and superior design and functionality of its popular Professional® Series products. The new refrigerators feature a stainless steel front, tempered glass shelves, and brushed aluminum rails. In addition, the new line offers interior shelving units that have an adjustable, frameless design for maximum storage capacity.

Additional features include integrated 1-gal door storage, adjustable temperature storage drawer (available on side-by-side models), sealed humidity-controlled crispers, roller glides for easy drawer access, convenient ice/water filtration system, and wine rack.

"We are entering the refrigeration business with this new line to appeal to consumers who are loyal Thermador owners and want the complete Thermador kitchen," said Franz J. Bosshard, president and CEO of Thermador. "We also designed this new line to satisfy those consumers who want the ultimate in refrigeration performance coupled with sophisticated styling in their kitchens."

Thermador offers 18 different refrigerator models in three sizes—36-, 42-, or 48-in. Bottom-mount or side-by-side configurations are available.

The company said the complete refrigeration line will be manufactured in Tennessee, U.S.
