UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Massager Sep 4, 2003

Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is notifying consumers that PHI Enterprises, Inc., massagers may pose a risk of electric shock. The massager contains a remote control and connector that have not been evaluated by UL. The UL Mark is not authorized for use with this combination of product.

The basic massager model without the remote and connector is not included as part of this warning. UL encourages consumers to stop using the massagers with the remote and connector, immediately.

The product is named the Rejuvenator Plus Professional, Model RX-2008 Massager. It was manufactured for PHI Enterprises, Inc., of Garden Grove, CA, U.S. by Tai Sheng Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd. of Taiwan. The massager can be identified by the following markings on the product: "Rejuvenator PlusProfessional Model RX-2008," "PHI Enterprises, Inc." The product's packaging is marked "Rejuvenator Plus Professional Model RX-2008." The unauthorized UL Listing Mark appears on the product and packaging.
