DESA Specialty Products, a manufacturer of electric chain saws, lawn and garden tools, power tools, security lighting, and other home comfort products, announced the appointment of Brian T. Schnabel as company president. According to the company, he will be responsible for all day-to-day business operations, defining market opportunities, and implementing strategies to accelerate the growth of the Heath/Zenith and Remington brands.
Prior to joining DESA, Mr. Schnabel served as company president of Vtech Electronics, Ltd. North America. Other past positions include group president of Little Tikes/Graco at Newell Rubbermaid and president and CEO of Elmer’s Products, INC.
