Buffalo Technology, which designs, develops, and manufactures wireless networking solutions for home, SOHO, and SMBs, announced it is entering the consumer market with a national retail partnership with CompUSA. According to the company, all of its home wireless networking products will be available in all of CompUSA's 226 stores nationwide.
The company reported that consumers will now have access to its full suite of AirStation(TM) 54Mbps wireless home networking products based on the IEEE802.11g wireless standard. The products that will be available in CompUSA include the company’s 802.11g wireless router, wireless cards, bridge/repeaters, indoor antennas, and the latest addition to its product line—the AirStation 802.11g wireless USB Adapter. 802.11g is the latest wireless standard and is backward compatible with the widely deployed 802.11b wireless products, according to the company.
Buffalo's products will be immediately available in CompUSA stores nationwide.
