NEC Corp said it plans to release a personal computer (PC) powered by a built-in fuel cell in 2004. The planned PC, which is 288 millimeters by 261 mm by 40 mm, will reportedly be able to operate for five consecutive hours, the major Japanese high-technology company said. NEC is set to improve the fuel cell in order to realize 40 consecutive hours of operation within 2 years, company officials said. (Kyodo News) Back
