At its annual general meeting, Swedish appliance company AB Electrolux re-elected the following Board of Director members: Rune Andersson, Peggy Bruzelius, Thomas Halvorsen, Louis R. Hughes, Hans Stråberg, Michael Treschow, Karel Vuursteen, and Jacob Wallenberg. Barbara Thoralfsson was newly elected to the Board. The Electrolux Group also announced the following executive appointments for Electrolux Home Products North America: Frank Wagner assumes the newly created position of vice president of Operations, overseeing manufacturing for Electrolux Home Products North America. Mr. Wagner most recently served as vice president of Worldwide Operations and Six Sigma for NCR Corp. and has experience in executive management of international corporations. Bob Cunningham has joined the company as vice president of Refrigeration and Freezer product lines. Mr. Cunningham previously was with Whirlpool for 23 years. Joao Claudio Gutter has been promoted to vice president of the Dishwasher Product Line. He was previously vice president, South America for Electrolux Brazil Floor Care Division. Marilyn Bracy has joined the company’s Information Technology division as director of Data Architecture.
