In a survey released in June, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) identified the top consumer electronics accessories for home audio and video, computer, wireless, and gaming products. According to CEA, accessories represented an estimated U.S. $6.5 billion industry for manufacturers in 2002, and are expected to exceed $7 billion in revenues this year.*

The quantitative study for the CE Accessories Ownership & Market Potential study was administered via telephone interview to a random national sample of 1,000 U.S. adults during May 2003.
