NEC to Charge for Collecting Used PCs

NEC Corp said it will charge between 3,000 yen and 7,000 yen per personal computer (PC) when collecting used PCs made by the company under a new government ordinance. The ordinance requires manufacturers to recycle used home PCs beginning Oct 1. (Kyodo News)
