Seaga Manufacturing, Inc. announced Wednesday that it has completed the purchase of the Vendtronics line of vending equipment.

According to Seaga, Vendtronics cold and frozen equipment will help extend its reach into the full-line vending arena. All principal manufacturing activity will be relocated and consolidated to Seaga's facility in Freeport, IL, U.S. Seaga said it will continue to offer bulk, compact, and mid-size vending equipment along with the new full-line pieces.

Seaga also said it will introduce a cold food machine, a frozen food machine, a bottle machine, and a snack/can or bottle combination machine this spring. These four pioneer machines will comprise the backbone for the initial Vendtronics group within the Seaga family.

The acquisition announcement comes at an opportune time, as Seaga is completing a 40,000-sq-ft plant addition.

Seaga said the acquisition will help accelerate the phenomenal growth it has been experiencing and is a vital component of its strategic plan to secure further market share through worldwide marketing and acquisition.
