Fedders Corporation announced that its Board of Director selected two new corporate officers, Rick Essex, vice president, Fedders International and C.P. Ho, Ph.D., vice president, Engineered Products, and promoted Daryl Erbs, Ph.D. to senior vice president, Fedders Corporation.
Reporting to Michael Etter, president and chief operating officer, Dr. Erbswill be responsible for focusing the company's HVACR division on market penetration in the Americas. Dr. Erbs joined Fedders in 1999 as vice president, Technology. In 2000, he was elected a senior vice president and in 2001 he assumed responsibility for Fedders International and Unitary Products in 2002.
Fedders International, which is moving its headquarters to Shanghai, China, will be led by Rick Essex, vice president. Mr. Essex will have responsibility for the company's sales growth in Asia/Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Mr. Essex joined Fedders in 2001 as vice president, Sales, International.
The company's Engineered Products division, which consists of Trion, Inc., Envirco Corporation and Melcor Corporation, will be led by Dr. C.P. Ho, vice president, Engineered Products. Dr. Ho will have responsibility for all ofthe Engineered Products operations. Back
