Matsushita Electric Works to Open Company in South Korea Jul 8, 2003

Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd. established a new company in South Korea to roll out full-fledged sales activities in the local market. The new company, Matsushita Electric Works (Korea) Co., Ltd., reportedly completed company/business registration on June 19, 2003 and is slated for operational start in September. According to Matsushita, the new local company aims at operating sales activities more catering to local customers to increase sales of device-related businesses. Furthermore, the company said it will also set its focus on the sales of consumer products including beauty-enhancing/health-promoting products to widen the scope of operation in the South Korean market.
