Masco Corp. said it has reached an agreement to sell its Baldwin Hardware and Weiser Lock businesses to Black & Decker Corp. of Towson, MD, U.S. With combined 2002 sales of U.S. $250 million, Baldwin and Weiser make and distribute a wide range of architectural and decorative home products, including lock sets, hardware, lighting, and ornaments. The deal is expected to close later this year. The move would expand Black & Decker’s lock and hardware business by adding upper-end brands and distribution channels. Back
