Maytag Corporation expects to announce second quarter 2003 sales and earnings on Tuesday, July 15, at approximately 6:00 a.m. CT.

The corporation has scheduled a conference call to discuss its performance with members of the financial community. During the call, Maytag's CEO Ralph F. Hake and CFO Steven H. Wood will comment on various aspects of the results and answer questions.

The conference call will be at 8:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday, July 15. Additionally, Maytag's conference call will be broadcast live over the Internet by CCBN.com.
