LG Plans to Structure World’s Largest PDP Line Jun 26, 2003

LG Electronics announced plans to create the world’s largest PDP production line in order to fully penetrate the PDP market. The company has two existing production lines and has plans for a third. The company reported that it will invest KRW 330 billion and complete the production line by September 2004. The company expects the new manufacturing line to produce 75,000 PDPs per month. The company said that the third PDP production line will provide it with a momentum to reshuffle the global electronics industry in the area of state-of-the-art display together with LCD.
