Vacuum Insulation Association Announces 6th Annual Symposium Mar 26, 2003

The Vacuum Insulation Association (VIA) has set June 5-6,
2003 for its annual Symposium, to be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, U.S.

VIA's 2002 Symposium in Georgia drew participants from the US and 15 other countries. The 2003 Symposium will focus on the advantages to vacuum insulation end-users in shipping, appliances, buildings, and other global markets.

More than one-half of this year's presentations will address end-use applications for VIPs, with a new emphasis on use of vacuum insulation in the buildings industry on the first day. Manufacturing and performance measurement will be addressed in the second day of the Symposium. In addition, numerous companies will be exhibiting
VIP-related products.
