Sony Ericsson's T68 mobile phone was the top seller at GEAB The Phone House's stores in Sweden during the month of February, the retailer said on Monday.
The color-screen phone, which supports mobile Internet services, was the best seller based both on the number of phones sold and on revenue generated, GEAB said.
Sony Ericsson's T200 model ranked second, based on the number of phones sold, following by four models from Nokia Corp.
Based on revenue, Sony Ericsson's P800 smart phone ranked second, followed by Nokia's 6310 model and the Sony Ericsson T200, GEAB said. The P800, which Sony Ericsson began selling at the end of 2002, combines the functions of a mobile phone and personal digital assistant and includes a camera.
GEAB, which is owned by Carphone Warehouse, is one of Sweden's largest independent mobile phone retailers. According to the company, it accounts for about 12 percent of the phone sales in Sweden. (Dow Jones)
