Viking Range Corporation announced it has acquired the rights to use its Viking trademark in Canada.

Products manufactured by Viking Range Corporation were previously marketed under the Ultraline brand name in Canada, the only market worldwide where the Viking name was not available for use by Viking Range. The Ultraline brand will no longer be used, and Viking Range products will now be marketed worldwide under the Viking name. The use of the Viking trademark was obtained under a license agreement with Sears Canada, Inc.

Viking Range-produced products will be marketed under the names "Viking Professional" and "Viking Designer." The name "Viking" alone will continue to be a separate brand marketed by Sears Canada, and these products will not be produced or otherwise associated with Viking Range Corporation.
