Toshiba Names New Vice President of Ultrasound Business Unit Jun 25, 2003

Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. named Steve Sickles vice president of its Ultrasound Business Unit. According to the company, his new duties include managing the ultrasound field sales organization, the alternate distribution sales channel, and ultrasound’s profit and loss operation.

"Steve Sickels will play an integral part in the further sales expansion of Nemio(TM), Toshiba's high-performance, cost-effective system targeted at a segment currently experiencing double-digit growth, as well as the Aplio(TM), Toshiba's high-end ultrasound product,” said Ed Lodgek, senior vice president and general manager, TAMS.

Before going to work for Toshiba, Mr. Sickles was president and owner of Mid Island Beach Marina, Inc. The company reports that Mr. Sickles has close to 10 years experience with Toshiba.
