Merloni Ponders Leningrad Facility Mar 12, 2003

Italy's Merloni Elettrodomestici is mulling investing 40 million euros (U.S. $44 million) in building a factory in the Leningrad region to produce parts for its home appliances. A Merloni delegation, which had talks with Leningrad regional authorities, said that it also plans to construct plants in the Yekaterinburg and Lipetsk regions. (The Moscow Times)
