Sharp Corp. will begin assembling solar battery panels in either Britain or France by the end of the year, company sources said. Under the plan, Sharp, based in Osaka, Japan, will export solar battery components manufactured at a plant in Nara Prefecture to assemble them into panels at a factory in Europe. (Kyodo News)
