Murray Inc., of Brentwood, TN, U.S. is voluntarily recalling about 270,000 riding lawn tractors. The fuel tank can crack and leak fuel, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers. Murray has received 101 reports of fuel tanks leaking. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled lawn tractors were sold under the Murray and Stanley brand names and have 38-, 40-, 42-, 46-, and 52-in
cutting decks. The brand name is printed on the front or side of the lawn tractor and the model number can be found on a nameplate under the seat. Retail and hardware stores, including Wal-Mart and Home Depot, sold the lawn tractors nationwide from November 2000 through January 2003.
