Small electrics manufacturer Applica Inc. has separated the duties of chairman of the board and chief executive officer, electing Harry Schulman president and CEO. Mr. Schulman has served as the company’s president and chief operating officer. David Friedson, who has served as chairman and CEO, will continue to serve as Applica’s chairman of the board.
