Sharp to Recall Washer-Dryers Feb 25, 2003

Sharp Corp. said it will recall about 58,000 washer-dryers because of a defective imported part to control water supply that could leave water running even after the washing cycle ends. Sharp ES-WD74 washer-dryers produced between November 2000 and February 2002 are subject to the recall, the consumer electronics company said. (Kyodo News)
