Aquamall Water Solutions Ltd., a 100 percent subsidiary of Eureka Forbes Ltd., is planning to set up a factory for manufacturing and marketing its flagship brand Aquaguard water purifiers in a South-East Asian country.

"For the purpose, we are currently in talks with a South-East Asian company to enter into both a technological and equity participation with it. A South-East Asian company will source the technology used for manufacturing Aquaguard water purifiers from us," said Eureka Forbes Ltd.'s senior vice-president (marketing) SK Palekar. Currently, the company exports its flagship brand 'Aquaguard' water purifiers to the U.S., Mauritius and Dubai. "By setting up a factory in South-East Asia, we aim to further enhance the contribution of our exports turnover," he adds. However, as the deal is not final yet, Mr. Palekar refused to divulge further details on the company’s new initiatives. (Financial Express)
