Samsung Electronics, in response to the continued decline in the global economy, announced a corporate-wide emphasis on new management initiatives.
According to company sources, Yoon Jong-yong, vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, has recently asked his division chiefs to concentrate on the development of innovative products, to make further upgrades in cost competitiveness, and to achieve a higher degree of organizational vitality.
He also emphasized the need for renewed market leadership, attracting more global customers, and improving the efficiency of work process as some of the most important goals in Samsung's quest to become a leading global enterprise.
