Fisher & Paykel has released a family of appliances in a new satin finish stainless steel called Iridium, that is reportedly easy to clean, virtually resistant to fingermarks, and is less prone to scratching. The popular Fisher & Paykel Inox stainless steel refrigerator and dishdrawer are now available in both traditional or Iridium stainless steel. Other new Iridium products in development include built-in ovens, cooktops and rangehoods. "Iridium is about offering some diversity within the category of stainless steel," says Tony Sweeney, Fisher & Paykel’s marketing manager. "For a decade now, stainless steel appliances have been the number one choice for stylish kitchens at the premium end of the market.
