SONICblue Launches DVD/VCR Combo that Allows Live-TV Control Jan 10, 2003

SONICblue(TM) Incorporated (Nasdaq:SBLU - News), introduced the Go-Video® DV6430, the first product of its kind to incorporate live TV control with a DVD/VCR combo. The unit combines all the convenience of a DVD+VCR unit, with up to 10 min of Live TV control, giving users the ability to pause, rewind, instant replay, and slow-motion live television. These features, which were first introduced as part of SONICblue's ReplayTV feature set, are reportedly not available in any other DVD+VCR unit and are included with no additional service charge or monthly fee. In addition, the DV6430 incorporates Go-Video's watch and record feature allowing consumers to watch a DVD or play a music CD while recording a TV show on the VCR, and seamlessly switch from one to the other with no interruptions.
