AB Electrolux Purchases Own Shares Jan 8, 2003

Swedish appliance maker AB Electrolux announced today that it repurchased 400,000 of its own shares, series-B, at an average price of SEK 135.83 (U.S. $15.68). After this transaction, the company owns almost 21.5 million B-shares, which corresponds to 6.3 percent of the share capital and 5.0 percent of the voting rights. The total number of shares in AB Electrolux amounts to 338.7 million.
