Dell announced today its contract to supply the BMW Group with 13,000 OptiPlex desktop computers and 4,000 Latitude notebook computers.
According to the company, the deal is worth U.S. $16.6 million. The computer manufacturer will reportedly have the hardware installed in BMW?s offices by the end of 2003.
The contract also includes Custom Factory Integration Services (CFI), which, according to Dell, is a pre-installation service used to configure the company?s systems with its customer?s requirements. Back
