South Korean exports of computers and related products will
rise 16.5 percent, to U.S. $13.1 billion this year, compared with
2001, as sales of liquid-crystal displays gained, the
government said. South Korea, reportedly the fourth-largest Asian economy, will increase overseas sales by 6.5 percent to $13.8 billion next year, the government said. Still, exports are not expected to reach the level of 2000, when they totaled $14.7 billion. (Bloomberg News)
