Sony to Build Semiconductor R&D Center in Taiwan Nov 25, 2002

Sony Corp. said it will build a research and development (R&D) center for semiconductor products in Taiwan next January. The facility will focus on development of large-scale integrated circuits and other semiconductor products for use in cameras in mobile phones and notebook computers, Sony said. (Kyodo News)
