Electrolux IZZI dishwasher Wins Award Nov 25, 2002

Electrolux has won the 2002 Good Design Award™ for household appliances with its latest dishwasher, the IZZI. The award is given yearly by the Chicago Anthenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, bestowing international recognition on design firms and manufacturers. Electrolux’s IZZI was chosen by a jury of leading designers and graphic arts specialists during a two round judging event held in Europe and the U.S.

The IZZI dishwasher is the result of extensive research by Electrolux into consumer wishes, and works toward an increasing demand for a pleasant, warm appearance, combined with essential ease of use. With only four buttons in total and a mere two to press per wash the need for complex instructions prior to washing has been bypassed. Electrolux’s IZZI will be displayed at the Museum in Chicago, IL, U.S. starting April 1st, 2003.
