Philips Set for Strong Fourth Quarter Nov 19, 2002

Dutch Philips Electronics NV said its consumer electronics division was on track for a good fourth quarter with October having been a record month and November looking strong thus far.
Philip said its lighting business was outpacing competitors and delivering earnings before interest and tax margins of about 12 percent for the year to date. Philips is a European maker of consumer electronics, lighting products, and semiconductors. (Reuters)
