Sharp Corp. said it intends to increase the global share of its video projectors, which provides users a large-screen home theater, to 20 percent in the next fiscal year from the current 13 percent. The size of the global market for theater projectors is estimated to grow to 250,000 in fiscal 2002 and to 570,000 in fiscal 2005, according to industry officials. (Kyodo News)
