Rajeev Karwal, senior vice-president, Consumer Electronics for Philips India, has resigned after a 2-year stint, and will be joining Swedish home appliances major Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd as its CEO. According to reliable sources, the present managing director and CEO, Ram S Ramsundar, who heads the India operations, will be leaving the company by the end of the year. Mr. Ramsundar has been at the helm of affairs at Electrolux India since 1997. Prior to joining Philips, Mr. Karwal spent 3 years at LG Electronics. (Financial Express)
