NEC to Return to U.S. PC Market Nov 8, 2002

NEC Corp. said it will take the wrap off its Tablet PC, which allows users to enter data with a stylus, in the U.S. and elsewhere by next March. The reportedly ultra-thin, laptop-style computer will have a Microsoft Corp. operating system (OS), the Japanese electronics firm said. Microsoft earlier announced that OS enables users to annotate documents, and jot down and exchange notes. (Kyodo News)
