Sharp Systems of America (SSA) announced an agreement that will make Sharp's new Actius notebooks available for purchase in more than 600 Circuit City Superstores, nationwide, starting in mid-November. The award-winning Actius UM series notebook weighs only about three pounds. Sharp's mainstream Actius MV series notebook measures just one-inch thick and starts at 3.7 pounds, features a 1.13 GHz Intel Mobile Pentium III-M processor, 802.11b wireless LAN support, an integrated combo CD-RW and DVD drive, 256 MB memory, and a 40 GB hard drive.
