CEA President Wins Exhibition Award Oct 29, 2002

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that its president and CEO, Gary Shapiro, won the International Association for Exhibition Management's (IAEM) Pinnacle Award for excellence in exhibition management. The award is presented to individuals that have helped shape the exhibition industry and are dedicated to its advancement and innovation and is chosen by the IAEM's Board of Directors based on merit and contributions to the industry. It is being given to Mr. Shapiro for his work as a vocal tradeshow industry spokesman and producer of what is said to be the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). He will claim the Pinnacle Award at this year's IAEM Expo! Expo! Annual Meeting and Exhibition on Dec. 12, 2002 in Orlando, FL, U.S.
